This website is something I am using to learn to build websites from scratch. I am typically building this website while streaming. Please feel free to check out my stream of building the website as well as setting up this server.

I again, am using this only to learn and setup my server and website from scratch. I am currently writing this using VIM (vim > nano). I plan on building a GIT pull system and a script that will keep the webiste up to date from GIT. I am not currently at that point.
At this point I am basically attempting to learn everything. I am following a few courses which are:
I plan on building quite a bit on this site of various odds and ends. My main project is going to be some of the learn websites that I am building. The main one being Learn To Admin. I have already mentioned that I plan on building a GIT script. Lets list some that I am currently thinking of:
Let's talk about motivation, specifically mine. I want to be able to build websites to help people. Now I am not just saying that without thinking through why. I want to be able to help the "little guy" in this case. The mom/pop shops that just don't know where to get started or what to do. They want to get a website, don't have a lot of money to spend and are feeling overwhelmed. I also want to be able to help family. I have a few family members that have businesses that could really use a website. I unfortunately don't have the skills at this point to make anything reasonable.
That is why I am creating this website. I want to be able to prove to myself that I can create websites for people. So with that in mind I am going to be creating a lot of various items. Such as the form I talked about before as well as other items. Maybe an ordering form, I would use this just to send an email or something possibly. I don't want to deal with SPAM so we will see on how to handle that. I would also build maybe a reservation form/app and a few other items.
I build this website and work on the server in my free time. This unfortunatelly is very limited due to many factors. I have a full time job as a Site Reliability Engineer/Software Engineer, this takes up a large amount of my day. I also have two toddlers that take up the rest of my time. I think I will need to make a page just talking about kids and parenting as being a parent is one of the greatest things that has happened to me. I also have 3 dogs, 3 ferrets, 1 cat, 1 gecko, taking care of these animals as well leaves me with limited time.
The limited time that I do get, I attempt to stream and work on this website (or play video games). I used to be addicted to video games, I am working to break that "curse" but still get pulled back from time to time. The latest game I have been playing is Helldivers 2. I also just won a free game from brucegreene on twitch twitch.tv/brucegreene. I got to pick the game and I picked Screeps: World. I picked this since I have had my eye on it for years but it didn't seem like a game I would ever pick up. I want to use it to learn a bit more JavaScript (I know nothing).
